THIS ILK is a project that reflects the values we cherish: sustainability, authenticity, integrity, respectfulness and living responsibly. As a slow fashion brand, we offer a product that is handmade in small quantities as a sustainable alternative to fast fashion options.

Reducing, reusing and sourcing locally when possible are all part of our sustainability practices. Each piece is carefully crafted into wearable art in limited quantities in our Montreal studio. Sourcing rare fabrics, designing, hand dyeing, meticulously treating against fraying, stiffening, hand sewing, and assembling are all part of the process.

Although imitation may be perceived as a form of flattery to some, authenticity is what drives us. We don't just make jewelry; we think, design and create it.
